Pictorial #300 - Katina Cazalet

Today marks the 300th pictorial on this blog and I'm so thrilled that my good friend Katina Cazalet agreed to pose for me!  Katina is a contributor to this blog as everyone knows, and she's been a HUGE part of the Dog Star journey.  I couldn't have done this without her and to say that I am grateful is an understatement.  Thank you, Kat! 

I'd also like to thank the wonderful photographers that have contributed to this blog over the years.  Their wonderful photography, and dedication to this blog, have been a source of joy and pride to me.  Dog Star has always been about giving new talent a leg up in the SL porn world and these pictorials have been crucial to that mission. 

Most of all, thank you to all of you who follow this blog.  It's been a fun ride!

Dog Star:  Kat, where do you see SL porn going next?  Will the recent trend in voice performance expand?

Katina:  Voice seems to be a viable option more than it was in the past. Some talents in our community have already developed experience in the field, and I hope are getting to do more and more often like in Rachel Avro's latest, because as the evolution of the industry showed, experience helps growth. Directors like Mitzy showed also that it's well possible to commission professional voice acting to people outside of SL porn. It all depends on what the director wants to do. Voice does pose several issues that are probably not going to make it the ultimate standard in machinima, but it's something that i'd like to promote happening more, at least to recognize the level of acting involved.

Dog Star:   Is it appropriate for a performer to pleasure him or herself while they are filming?

Katina:  Well of course it is! Like it is to eat a sandwich. As long as they don't make everyone else wait because their hands are busy... :p But seriously, I kinda love when someone tells me they are/have been enjoying themselves. It depends a lot on how they say it and what their goal is, and the respect they have for other people's desires and time.

Dog Star:  What do you most love about being in the porn industry?  How important is the sexual aspect to you?

Katina:  I definitely am pretty uninhibited when it comes to SL sex and I enjoy it in many forms. I have always enjoy sex and art, so why not combining the two, huh? But as I said in the past, the porn industry is kinda my home, with so many friends and so many familiar aspects that are part of my everyday life, no matter how much it changed throughout the years , the 'game' is the same. I am not as active, involved or 'hungry' as I once was, even if I still think I have been pretty laid back and mostly about the fun, but still, I love being in it.
