Empire - Episode One

I am happy to release the first episode of Empire, my latest feature film.  Empire is the story of a girl on the fringes of the Roman Empire who with the impending threat of war heads to Rome to meet her destiny.  Filmed over several months starting this summer, Empire stars Kara Hawk but features several familiar faces.  There will be several posts about the details of this film as I continue to release episodes (there will probably be 3 in all, possibly 4 depending on the length of the final cut).

My goal with this film was to create a tone for the period, and to focus mostly on the sexual content, not the details of the story.  I used (mostly) authentic music from the period and minimized the amount of 'English' spoken in the sex scenes.

Rob Roxley - Ladies Man

I had the rare opportunity to sit for a photo shoot with Rob Roxley.  The photos turned out great and I learned a lot just being involved in the process.

Dog Star Featured Performer of the Month - October 2015: Rob Roxley

Once a month I will feature a different performer with whom I've worked at Dog Star Productions.  For the inaugural month (October 2015) I've selected Rob Roxley, the well known SL porn star.

Rob has made 9 films (see the list below) to date with Dog Star and when asked which was his favorite he replied, "I had an amazing time doing Brazilian Nut". First because once more I worked with the beautiful and amazing girls Isa and CrisaV. Plus we had such a good time that it took us around 4 hours to shoot... it was awesome."

Rob, who resides in Brazil, has been in SL for almost 6 years.  He is an amazing photographer whose work can be seen at https://www.flickr.com/photos/58138613@N03/.

I asked Rob how he got involved wih SL pornography:  "I heard it through a billboard at a Brazilian sim. It was talking about Miss Ballogh and how she was a start in SL porn and all. So I started looking into it and had my first scene in one of Alexandr Aho movies. After that I started meeting more people that worked in SL porn and started modeling and acting for other directors and photographers."


Finally, I asked him what advice he would give to a person just starting out in SL Adult pornography?   "Take your time. Work on improving your avi. Respect the time and the skills of the person you're working with. Be on time. Work to get as best as you can to what the artist has envisioned. And first and foremost... Have fun!"

I always have fun working with Rob.  He is able to navigate the fine line between professionalism and sensuality in a way that makes me blush.  Please enjoy a few new pics of Rob and a few from his films with Dog Star!

I recently shot a film with Rob Roxley using the highest quality graphics setting in SL and in the editing process thought I'd made a big mistake.  The quality turned out to be awful at first and I blamed that on the filming process but I discovered that it WAS a step in the editing process that was causing the poor quality.  I recompiled the film and reloaded it to the site and I think it turned out alright after all.  As always, Rob was fantastic.

This is my 'twist' on the CMNF concept - hope you enjoy it!
